Domain Name Transfer Service:

If you do want us to bill you for future domain renewals, please enter your domains UDAI (Unique Domain Authentication Identifier) into the box below. The UDAI is required to confirm and authorise the transfer. For some domain types, this is referred to as the Authorisation code.

Depending on your domains expiry date, we may need to renew your domain at the time of transfer, which we need to receive payment for before we can process the renewal. International domains require renewing and paying for when we transfer the domain across.

 

Web Site Migration Service:

If you already have your website and email hosted elsewhere, and would you like us to transfer over all your website files, databases, and email accounts for you, to help minimise/eliminate downtime during the transfer process, we maybe able to help. Pricing for transferring your files, databases, and email accounts starts from just $50+GST. If you don't want this service, you or your web developer/designer will be responsible for moving your files and accounts.

Please tick the box on the left, if you want us to help you transfer your website files, databases and email accounts for you, into your new hosting account. Pricing starts from $50+GST, however we will provide you with a quote after you have signed up and provided us with your old hosting details.

Please note that we are unable to guarantee that after we have moved your website and database files to our servers, that the website will work properly, as different servers have different settings and configurations. You may need to hire a designer or developer after we have completed the transfer of files, to correct any coding issues in your website. This migration service is also provided as is, so we can't be responsible if we miss any files during the transfer or your website don't work properly after transfer. Therefore it is usually best if your web designer/developer who built the website, does this transfer for you, as they are in the best position to know how to best transfer it.

Switching Process:
Super Host will handle the switching of your Domain Name settings (DNS) over to our servers, provided that you have supplied us with your domains authorisation codes to allow us to transfer your domain. Alternatively you may choose to change your Domains DNS settings yourself and/or continue to use your existing domain provider.

Once your new hosting account has been setup on our servers, you will need to upload your existing site onto the new server, and setup your existing email addresses into your new hosting account. Please note that the transferring of your website from your hosting provider to our server, and setting up your email accounts is the clients responsibility and not ours. You may need to hire a web developer to do this for you, if you don't know how to do it yourself. Some websites are very complex and large and require a substantial amount of work to move from one hosting provider to another.

If your Domain Name is attached to a website that is being hosted by another hosting company, please make sure that you cancel your account with them once your website has switched to the new server. If your website is hosted with a ISP, please get them to cancel the DNS and MX settings on their network. This is especially important if your website was hosted with ISP's such as Xtra, Paradise, Telstra Clear, and iHug. Please make sure that you also settle any accounts that are due with you current hosting provider.
